JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii --   The U.S. Air Force is holding a series of public hearings in the Anchorage and Fairbanks, Alaska, communities between July 15-18, 2013, to invite public comment on the Draft Environmental Impact statement on the proposed transfer of an F-16 aircraft squadron.

To have comments considered for inclusion in the final environmental impact statement, they must be submitted no later than Aug. 2, 2013. The Draft EIS, public hearing dates and locations, and more information are available at the new project website: www.alaskaf-16eis.com.
