FES cost savings and cost avoidance
TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – Using centralized buying power, the Air Force Civil Engineer Center's Fire Emergency Services Division gained a 43 percent cost avoidance savings on 1,936 hazardous materials chemical protective suits purchased to replace equipment that had reached the end of its service life.
