Maj. David Jane, a Canadian Exchange Officer, is the chief of contingency training in the Air Force Civil Engineer Center Readiness Directorate at Tyndall AFB, Fla. Since 1981, the U.S. Air Force and Canadian Forces have conducted mutually beneficial exchanges of officers between the two services in order to build cooperation and maintain capabilities in preparation for possible joint operations.
