San Pedro Park Cleanup

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- More than 30 volunteers from various organizations in Bldg. 171, including the Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment and the Air Force Real Property Agency, spruced up San Pedro Park April 1 as part of the on-going 2011 Earth Day campaign. The volunteers painted, cleared debris, cleaned up flower beds, picked up trash and planted rose bushes during the event. San Pedro Park is the second oldest park in the nation. Only Boston Commons was established prior to the San Antonio park. (Air Force photo by Armando Perez)
