GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas-- Maxwell “Trey” Pons III, Honorary Air Force firefighter, is presented with his graduation certificate by Col. Paul Bugenske, 17th Mission Support Group Commander, and Jim Podolske, Fire Emergency Services Program Manager, at the Louis F. Garland DOD Fire Academy June 28. Pons, who is autistic, sight impaired and hearing-impaired, accomplished his dream to become a firefighter by going through each training block in a day at the Fire Academy.
