New wind turbines

CAPE COD AIR FORCE STATION, Mass. -- Air Force Space Command will host a ribbon cutting in late 2013 or early 2014 to commemorate the completion of two wind turbines at Joint Base Cape Cod, Mass. The two new turbines join three others already in operation on the 20,000-acre area formally known as the Massachusetts Military Reservation. The turbines will offset half of what the Air Force pays to power a PAVE PAWS radar system on the property. (U.S. Air Force photo/Steve Mellin)
