TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. - The Air Force Civil Engineer Center's Fire Emergency Services Division has earned more than $323 million in actual cost savings and cost avoidance for the Air Force. One way is through the development and fielding of new technology. The P-34 Rapid Intervention Vehicle uses ultra-high pressure firefighting technology and performs 3.5 times more effectively than larger conventional firefighting vehicles.
