Workers top out CCLD tower

Workers prepare to “top out” the glass skylight tower at the U.S. Air Force Academy’s Center for Character and Leadership Development in Colorado. With the frame complete, work will now begin the process of attaching more than 110 tons of glass to the structure. The new facility is funded through a unique partnership in which the basic facility is being funded through the military construction budget, while the tower and interior enhancements are being funded by donors through the USAFA Endowment.
