Dr. Joe Wander, the science, technology, engineering and math outreach coordinator at the Air Force Civil Engineer Center at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, is recognized with a certificate of appreciation Sept. 22 for supporting C.C. Washington Academy in Panama City, Florida. Wander was able to help fund a new science lab for the middle school through AFCEC’s STEM program which directly supports and funds STEM programs at local schools.
