Explosive Ordnance Disposal Airmen participate in Eastern Robot Rodeo and Capability Exercise

Staff Sgt. Guadalupe Corona, explosives ordnance disposal team leader with the 327th Civil Engineer Squadron, remotely maneuvers an F6A robot at the inaugural Eastern Robotics Rodeo & Capability Exercise in Atlanta, Ga, Aug. 29 - Sept. 2, 2016. The event invites military, federal and local EOD to compete using remotely controlled, hazardous-duty robotic platforms to dismantle inert explosive devices in real-world scenarios and provides an opportunity for participants to network and exchange best practices. This year's event was made possible by the partnership of the Air Force Civil Engineer Center, Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office - Technical Support Working Group and the United Kingdom Defense Science and Technology Laboratory.
