Former Onizuka Air Station military building

While designing the newly opened Foothill College Sunnyvale Center, an effort was made to incorporate elements of the former Onizuka Air Station in a nod towards the facility’s historical military mission. A portion of the new college replicates the iconic, now demolished military building once used for space and satellite operations, called “The Blue Cube”. (U.S. Air Force photo/Scott Johnston)
