Prior to construction in 2008, Air Force and North Las Vegas leadership participate in a groundbreaking ceremony for the new water reclamation facility at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. AFCEC’s enhanced use lease team is conducting as series of EUL Educational Staff Assistance Visits, or “EESAVs”, to emphasize the benefits of leasing underutilized Air Force property to private sector developers in exchange for cash and/or in-kind rent, and to provide in-person training on the program. With the construction of this facility, completed in 2012, the EUL provided the Airmen at Nellis a state-of-the-art fitness center and discounted water rates. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
