Tyndall team provides cheer at annual holiday event

A student from Lucille Moore Elementary School in Panama City, Florida, gasps with surprise as she opens her gift to reveal a new remote control car. On Dec. 19, members of the Air Force Civil Engineer Center Emergency Management team at Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., visited with the students at the school to celebrate Christmas early during the “Spread the Joy” event. An annual event since 2014, volunteers from the community gathered at Tyndall AFB earlier in the week to wrap more than 900 presents. The Mercy Chefs organization also served nearly 450 meals to the children and their families. (U.S. Air Force photo by David Ford)
