Antimicrobial patent

Shane Skibba, an intern at the Tyndall AFB, Florida, Air Force Civil Engineer Center lab in 2019, applies treated paint to a cinderblock wall with a cloth, making sure to cover every crevice. The wall, in Building 1117, previously had mold growth on it. After being treated with the lab’s antimicrobial paint, the wall remained mold-free for at least six months before needing to be recharged. (U.S. Air Force photo by Bruce Salter)
