CAPE training goes virtual

Contingency Airfield Pavement Evaluation course training instructor, Dick Smith, provides instruction on how to gather data to assess airfield pavement. Because of the backlog in training caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, members from AFCEC’s Airfield Pavement Evaluation team and the Air Force Institute of Technology came together recently to create instructional videos to transition to a virtual CAPE training course.
