U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Restoration specialists carefully reinstall the first of 2,240 cassettes with more than 24,000 individual dalles de verre blocks, commonly referred to as stained glass panels, inside the U.S. Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel. The installation is part of the on-going Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center-led Chapel restoration project. The Air Force Civil Engineer Center, an AFIMSC primary subordinate unit, is executing the restoration activities.
