Media Release: Ellsworth AFB seeks developer interest in leasing building Published Feb. 25, 2013 By Air Force Civl Engineer Center Public Affairs JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas -- The Air Force is requesting private industry input on a possible commercial real estate development project at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D. Under the Enhanced Use Lease Program, the Air Force Civil Engineer Center issued a Request for Information, RFI # AFCEC-13-R-0005, asking for private industry feedback on possible commercial real estate development concepts involving leasing two hangars, with 33,000 sq. ft. available respectively, and a 7,688 sq. ft. administrative building. Potential concepts could include but are not limited to manufacturing, distributing, warehousing, office, mixed-use, residential, industrial, renewable or alternative energy.
