The Air Force Civil Engineer Center will host military, city and industry partners July 23 to discuss crisis mappers' support of disaster response and recovery operations.

The two-hour session, titled "Crisis Mappers: Changing How We See Our World," begins at 1:30 p.m. CST and includes industry-renowned crisis mapping professional Dr. Jen Ziemke as the keynote speaker. She will discuss how the crisis mapping community is providing value to crisis and disaster response efforts worldwide.

Following the keynote address, a panel comprised of Dr. Ziemke, John Carroll University; Lynn Lindsay, Comal County Texas Office of Emergency Management; Chief Warrant Officer Jason Feser, U.S. Army South; and Maj. Paul Mancuso, Texas State Military Forces, will further delve into how public-public and public-private partnerships support disaster response and recovery operations.

The event is at Port San Antonio's Bldg. 210 Auditorium and will be broadcast live via Defense Connect Online at https://connectcol.dco.dod.mil/afcec-geointegration-office-event/.
