Prime Beef Day: 21st CES conducts a beddown exercise for monthly training
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Airmen with the 21st Civil Engineer Squadron develop a logistics plan and review Air Force Instruction requirements for a beddown exercise during a monthly training day, May 18, 2017, at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. Approximately 100 21st CES Airmen participated in the monthly training day, also known as Prime Beef Day, to complete a beddown exercise. Prime Beef Day: 21st CES conducts a beddown exercise for monthly training
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Airmen with the 21st Civil Engineer Squadron develop a logistics plan for a beddown exercise during a monthly training day, May 18, 2017, at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. Approximately 100 21st CES Airmen participated in the monthly training day, also known as Prime Beef Day, to complete a beddown exercise for a scenario involving 1100 troops, multiple aircraft and operational space assets. LEAD
Blood lead poisoning occurs when a person or child eats, drinks or inhales lead or a lead-contaminated item. Lead is commonly found in homes built in 1978 or earlier in the form of paint, pipes or plumbing fixtures. The Environment Protection Agency (EPA) estimates that over 24 million homes in the U.S. contain lead-based paint or lead-contaminated dust.

932nd Airlift Wing firefighters trained on core special skills particular to their jobs on May 21, 2017, at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. Airman Rachel Robert sprays water from the nozzle of he water hose connected to a fire truck behind her, in preparation for her fellow firefighters to enter a smoke-filled building while searching for a simulated patient. She ran this check on the system to ensure proper water pressure and availability of the resource in case it was needed to help put out a fire. In the background, other 932nd Civil Engineering Squadron members suit up to take their turns and get the hot, dark, challenging experience. The 932nd Airlift Wing is part of 22nd Air Force, an Air Force Reserve Command unit located near Belleville, Illinois, and citizen airmen come to participate from 37 states. Spot news: vehicle fire
William Green, a Tinker Fire and Emergency Services firefighter, sprays water on a vehicle which caught fire May 4, 2017, at Tinker Air Force Base, Okla. The privately owned vehicle developed mechanical trouble and caught fire near the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complexs' building 9001. The fire was quickly and safely extinguished using water and powder while traffic was diverted to an alternate route as workers completed their shifts.
