Representatives from the Air Force and California environmental regulatory agencies met for their quarterly regulatory partnering meeting June 25 in Sacramento, Calif. The team has developed new guidance, known as the “California State Agencies’ Potential ARARs Table for Air Force Restoration Actions,” which identifies Air Force and state perspectives on all anticipated California regulatory cleanup requirements, and provides possible resolutions for instances in which the Air Force and state may disagree.
