TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – Members of the Air Force Civil Engineer Center's Det. 1 hosted a rapid improvement event here, Aug. 27-29, 2013, to define roles and responsibilities for AFCEC’s new research and acquisition division scheduled to launch Oct. 1. Participants included Air Combat Command, members of the Secretary of the Air Force’s office for acquisition and office for installations and energy, as well as other AFCEC directorates.
