Air Force tackles PFAS at former Wurtsmith
The new expansion of the pump and treat system at former Wurtsmith Air Force Base, Michigan, will help the Air Force reduce perfluorooctane sulfonate and perfluorooctanoic acid, or PFOS/PFOA, in groundwater migrating to Clark's Marsh from the former base fire training area. AFIMSC disaster recovery team responds to Hurricane Ian
