‘Dirt Boyz’ live up to their name
Senior Airman Jaime Villagomez, (middle) 56th Civil Engineer Squadron water and fuels system maintenance technician, stabilizes an isolation valve while installing a fire hydrant, Nov. 2, 2020, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. Nicknamed the “Dirt Boyz,” these Airmen maintain, who work in the unit’s operations flight, and sustain base infrastructure, facilities and real property assets through routine maintenance. ‘Dirt Boyz’ live up to their name

To meet mission requirements, the 56th CES technicians replaced an isolation valve on a water system and installed a fire hydrant near the Auto Hobby Shop. Food 2.0 brings healthier dining options to Seymour-Johnson
Seymour-Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina, is the latest installation to implement the Food 2.0 initiative to offer healthier options to customers with the reopening of two renovated dining facilities on 29 Oct. The Food 2.0 style of service gives patrons at Seymour-Johnson and other installations “finish in front” service stations, technology advancements, and robust self-serve breakfast yogurt, salad bar and “grab & go” meal and snack options. Ringenberg wins award
Mike Ringenberg, Air Force Civil Engineer Center Energy Savings Performance Contract and Utility Energy Service Contract program manager, talks with those gathered for the Power Up Energy Expo in Panama City, Florida, recently.
