Air Force working toward innovative groundwater cleanup solution
Professors Selma Mededovic Thagard and Thomas Holsen, the Clarkson University team responsible developing the enhanced contact electrical discharge plasma reactor - a new method for degrading poly- and perfluoroalkyl substances including PFOS and PFOA - pose for a photo. The reactor cleans contaminated water without producing waste.
