JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. -- Contractors, managed by the Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment, recently completed construction on the Base Realignment and Closure/National Capital Region Relocation Administrative Facility here. The facility earned a U.S. Green Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Program Gold rating by incorporating many environmentally friendly components, including a vegetative roof.
