Bldg. 171 and Memorial Park cleanup

LACKLAND AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Military and civilian volunteers who work in Port San Antonio's Bldg. 171 joined together April 14 to cleanup around the building and Memorial Park located nearby. About 20 volunteers from the Air Force Real Property Agency, Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment, and Air Force Services Agency picked up several hundred pounds of trash. This was just one of various events planned during the San Antonio Armed Forces 2011 Earth Day commemoration. Although April 22 is Earth Day, each event during the three-week period emphasized "Every Day is Earth Day." Air Force photo by Margaret Moore
