SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Ken Rogers, a member of the Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment’s Operations Division, checks the expiration date on donated baked goods at the San Antonio Food Bank here Sept. 19. Rogers and about 20 other members of the organization, based at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, volunteered at the food bank to help process thousands of pounds of food so it can be distributed to 16 counties across southwest Texas.
