Firefighters demonstrate life-saving skills

RAF MILDENHALL, England – Firefighters from the 100th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department remove a simulated casualty from an extricated vehicle July 25, 2012, at the Exchange parking lot. During the training scenario, the firefighters responded to a vehicle accident with one trapped driver with injuries. Rather than remove the casualty from the vehicle, the responders removed the vehicle from the casualty and carefully cut the car away before safely removing the injured person.
