TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. - Airfield damage repair experts at the Air Force Civil Engineer Center’s Readiness Directorate conducted a wet-weather crater repair test Aug. 14, 2013, here. The test studied the effects and mitigation methods for placing asphalt crater repair caps in the rain. AFCEC will use findings from tests like these to refine ADR tactics, techniques and procedures.
