Ascension Island construction
A team of contractors continues a full-depth replacement of a 10,000-foot runway at Ascension Auxillary Airfield. More than 200 contractors on Ascension Island are working on asphalt paving on the first half of the runway before transitioning to the second half of the runway late spring.
