New dining facility
Engineers from the 557th Expeditionary RED HORSE Squadron are executing construction of the new dining facility at an allied base in the Middle East. This self-sustaining and mobile unit is a key component of contingency operations worldwide. In addition to the new DFAC, the RED HORSE Squadron is building other infrastructure at the base. New dining facility
Construction of the dining facility started in September 2018 and is expected to be complete in May 2021. The 11,840-square-foot building will serve as the main DFAC replacing the smaller existing facility.
