Controlled fires enable Avon Park Air Force Range mission
An Air Force Wildland Fire Center team, supported by teams from the Florida Forest Service and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, is working to contain four wildfires on the Avon Park Air Force Range in Florida. McClellan Water Treatment Plant

McClellan West Nature Area
The watershed running through the West Nature Area is fed in-part by filtered, cleaned water from McClellan’s groundwater treatment plant. Many of the ponds were formed by beavers damming the creek.
