BBC documentary James May on the Moon
Wil Ellerby, Researcher, Tim Cragg, Camera Operator, and Adam Prescod, Sound Recordist, set up a lipstick camera and solid state audio recorder inside the Air Force Research Laboratory Centrifuge room during production of a documentary by BBC, James May on the Moon which commemorates the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission which was the first to put a man on the Moon. James May was spun to several Gs in the AFRL Centrifuge at Brooks City-Base, TX. His experience allowed him to be more familiar with the experiences of Apollo 11 Astronauts Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins, and Edwin E. Aldrin, Jr., during the initial phase of launch which entered orbit of the Earth 12 minutes after takeoff. (US Air Force photo/Steve Thurow)
